Today, Oct. 19th, on US 1 S near Apex, I was closely tailgated by a a white van CD8964. I am so frustrated as this van then passed me when there was no reason to tailgate in the first place. Why do people do this?

What's the difference between the passing lane and the bathroom? A North Carolinian will leave the bathroom when they're done using it. Ha ha ha ha-seriously folks, use some courtesy-Snap out of it-I know its not natural for y'all to go out of your way to benefit strangers 'cause you don't know what race or religion they might be, but please start using your directionals whenever necessary, check your mirrors BEFORE lane changes and get out of the passing lane if you're not passing.

Impatient aggressive driver in a broken down car

I was already going 5 over the speed limit when tailgated by a vehicle with VA plates XJA 5955. The vehicle continued to tailgate me and swerve into the on coming traffic lane in a non passing double yellow line stretch of road. Limited sight distance. Tailgating was so close the front passenger couldn't even see the vehicle.
Incident occured on Hope Valley Rd, HWY 751. North of the S. Roxboro intersection.
Vehicle had lots of body damage and a

Arrive Alive
White SUV driving on Raleigh's Glenwood Avenue Sept 15, 2010 at 8 AM--driving too fast for conditions, swerving across multiple lanes and almost crashing into the back of a car pulled over on the right hand side. If you keep driving like this, you are going to cause an accident and I pray that you are the only one hurt.

I-40 Merge near Chapel Hill
Friday, April 02, 2010

I am AMAZED at the shennanigans people go through to merge from three lanes down to twO on I-40, a couple of miles west of 15-501 at Chapel Hill, especially those who find themselves in the far left lane that will soon be ending. Rather than staying in that narrowing lane and going nearly all the way up to the merge point, then feeding smoothly into traffic(with cars from the left lane and the narrowing lane taking turns), many drivers slow down to a crawl or stop in the the narrowing lane, put

Seriously
Tradesman's pickup truck tailgating every car he found while eastbound on US64 between Raleigh & Rocky Mount last night during fairly heavy rainfall.
There were a few cars that had spun out and/or ditched along the side of the road.
Traffic was denser than usual, but that didn't keep him from recklessly pushing everyone out of his way in the dark & in the driving rain.<

Sept. 21st, 2009; Rockingham, NC: I didn't get the full plate number off this moron but what I remember was W??-2621 off a gold Suzuki Forenza. Every time I tried to merge into the right lane this a**-hole kept speeding up so that I would couldn't get in. Finally the person behind them was kind enough to let me in front of them and behind the Suzuki before the road went from 4 lanes to 2 lanes. This is not Rockingham Speedway. It is fine for

License #: XWN9170. My spouse and I left the store today with our 1 year old only to be harrassed in the parking lot by a man and woman accusing us of hitting their car with our car door. I assured the man that we did not hit their car when we exited and asked him to show me the damage. At first we couldn't see it, but it turned out to be a circular chip in the paint about the size of a grain of sand. Again, we assu

A medium grey Jeep Cherokee with NC plate TTS-1498 kept "sampling" for a place to insert herself into a lengthy queue at the Wake Forest Rd exit from I440 at 8:50am .
It's a lot to ask to agree to take one's place at the end of a 33-car queue, but just TAKE YOUR LUMPS !
I don't care if you get to Wake Forest Rd. before me or after me, but screwing around in a 60mph lane of thru-tr

Beware TVN-4786
Tuesday, May 12, 2009

Drivers in Charlotte should watch out for a Chevy Silverado with tag number TVN-4786. Very aggressive driver, spins his wheels accelerating from a stop, will change lanes very quickly. Probably a major tailgater as well. Clearly doesn't care about courtesy or safety. If you see this vehicle, avoid him. With luck, a cop will spot him and pull him over.
